What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit a799608.github.io/mvp-rentals-website/, when you submit a booking request, and when we send you transactional text messages about your stay. It applies to all six homes operated under the MVP Rentals name.

Information we collect

• Booking-request details — your name, email address, phone number, party size, message, and the dates and home you selected.
• Stay details — mailing address, vehicle information, and pet information when you provide them so we can prepare the home and parking.
• Communications — the content of email and SMS exchanges between you and us about your stay.

We do not run analytics, ad networks, or third-party tracking on this site.

How we use your information

• To respond to your booking request and confirm your stay.
• To send transactional SMS messages tied to your stay — for example, your check-in instructions, the door code, cleaner schedule, and reminders.
• To answer questions you send us by phone, text, or email.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

SMS messaging

• We collect phone numbers for transactional SMS only — booking confirmations, check-in details, and stay logistics.
• Message frequency varies based on your stay events. A typical guest receives one to ten messages around their stay.
• No mobile information or SMS opt-in/consent data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third parties that touch your number are our SMS provider (Twilio Inc.) and the mobile carriers that deliver the message to your phone.
• Standard message and data rates may apply.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. You can also email wm.m.morris@gmail.com to opt out.

Who we share data with

• Twilio Inc. — our SMS provider, which transmits messages on our behalf.
• Mobile carriers — to deliver SMS to your phone.
• Cleaning team — first name and check-in/check-out dates only, so they can prepare the home.
• Government agencies — only when required by law (e.g., tax filings or a valid subpoena).

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with marketers.

How long we keep data

Booking-request details, communications, and stay records are kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and dispute-handling purposes — typically seven years. SMS opt-out records are kept indefinitely so we know never to text you again.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any of our text messages to opt out of SMS.
• Email wm.m.morris@gmail.com to request a copy or deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligations.

Children

Our site and bookings are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted here.
